Plastic-coated pipe is a steel-plastic composite pipe made of organic substances such as polyethylene (PE) resin, ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer (EAA), epoxy (EP) powder, non-toxic polypropylene (PP) or non-toxic polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with a thickness of 0.5 to 1.0 mm melted on the inner wall of the steel pipe. It not only has the advantages of high strength, easy connection, and water flow impact resistance of steel pipe, but also overcomes the disadvantages of easy corrosion, pollution, scaling of steel pipe in water, and low strength and poor fire protection performance of plastic pipe. The design life can reach 50 years. The main disadvantage is that it cannot be bent during installation. During hot processing and electric welding cutting, the cutting surface should be brushed with non-toxic room temperature curing glue provided by the manufacturer. The main specifications are Φ15 - Φ 2000.
